I have been a devoted gamer for over 5 years now and have undoubtedly played a lot of big title MMOs including World of Warcraft. Since Blizzard announced the WoW Monk class as a new playable class that comes with Mists of Pandaria, I immediately made way to acquire a copy of the expansion. The Monk class, as word has it, is considered as one of the most exciting and formidable classes as far as playable classes go – aka a hybrid! Yes, you could actually roll out a Monk and play as a tank, healer or even damage dealer. How did that work out for me? I can’t say it went smoothly. I was stuck here and there and at one time found myself completely at a lost on which skill to invest my valuable points on.
That was when I decided to resort to game guides and ended up grabbing a KillerGuides one, mainly because of how much I loved their Rogue guide. In addition, after researching here and there on what other gamer have to say about the guide publisher, I made a bee-line to check if they have a Monk guide available yet. I was surprised that they actually have one ready very early on. As you can guess, I made my purchase right there and then.
My verdict: Never more satisfied. So early on before the official expansion release was I already greeted with multiple pages of class strategies for my Monk. The manual features sections for leveling, skills, PvP and also a comprehensive builds recommendation section which was a huge help. Details about Brewmaster, Mistsweaver and Windwalker were provided in assiduous detail along with recommendations on which to go for, why and how to further build up on each.
With the help of KillerGuides WoW Monk Manual, I ended up customizing my very own skill rotation which I’m very proud of and made use of unique strategies that gave me a winning edge over opponents. Believe me when I say that I even took myself by surprise by the massive change in my gaming pattern since the time I started using the guide. After my highly positiveness experience with the class guide, I made a note to get their expansion guide as well. My findings? It was no surprise to me that the publisher’s WoW Mists of Pandaria guide is as well polished as it’s WoW Monk guide counterpart.

The guides are priced at $29.99 USD and $34.99 USD respectively, and offered as a down-loadable PDF file. With the help of these Mists of Pandaria booklets, anyone can turn expert overnight. Well at least that’s my take on both the guides!
I’m so impressed by the quality and the quantity of these guides, I think I’m going to get the KillerGuides All Access Pass. It’s a pass that literally allows you to download every guide in their library (which is like, over 200 guides and counting)! For the price of $129.99 USD that’s a totally awesome deal! No seriously, it is!
